Ziggy Pop

Rick Eckenwiler from Grace Community Church in Detroit, Michigan brings us this zig-zaggy pop piece.

Rick started with the Wingspan design. He scaled it down to his size and budget – free. All materials were re-used from other sets, otherwise it would have cost around $120. The panels were 2’x4′ pieces of white coroplast. The structure was held together with PVC pipe for vertical strength and hot glue. Where the panels met, there was a piece of 1/8″ dowel hot glued to the bottom piece, then the upper piece was just slid in to place.

The tall towers were 16′ high. The short ones were 8′.

They were lit with 6 Elation DLED Zooms.
