Cameron Dorsey from Calvary Chapel Houston in Friendswood, TX brings us this ultra simple but beautiful stage.
They wanted to design a more contemporary stage design for their Wednesday night service from what they generally do on Sundays. They sat down with the Pastor and looked at numerous different churches and worship band stages and he really liked the idea of a wall of lights. So they took the idea and drew up a few scale drawings. He picked out the one you see. The Screen is a 16’x9′ Screen they bought online and the 3 inch aluminum tubing frame was made by a gentleman in their congregation. The two pieces of truss holding it up were leftover from another stage design. The risers are 8’x8′ and 2′ tall. The LED lights are K9 LED Bulldogs mounted on six 10′ black poles and two leftover pieces of truss laying on the stage.
